Coming Soon - ish .... maybe
While recently going through my storage sheds I found a copy of the mockup used for approval of the Bison Dollar. It had three dollars stacked with a note on the cover for Xerox photocopies.
The paper has gone yellow but it stands as a record of the production. If there was any interest I could get art quality prints made ... suitable for framing. Further to that ...
I also found several draft versions of the black plate used for the offset printing.
I made some slight alterations for the final print run but these copies contain more detail than the actual printed money. The process of making the original plates would have required a high contrast pass which caused some of the finer detail to join up. Unfortunately, I don't have the final art but with the above, and the originals I still possess, it would be easy enough to do. It would be to all intents and purposes, a reprint of the originals. I'm thinking about it. |
